Introduction:
Live Chat is software for Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) that enables the company to handle
the support operations by providing 24 by 7 Chat supports.
Objective:
To develop a web based client/server application
which will help in chatting to website customers/visitors,
when they are on our website.
Solution:
The system consists of a robust chat server built
on pure Java networking technology and XML. The client
interfaces consists of an agent management interface
build in Swing. And the client and agent chat interface
build in pure Java, JavaScript and HTML. Used Java
collection framework extensively. This application
is develop using Java Networking, Swing, XML, JavaScript
and Linux.
