Futurism Technologies., the leader in IT based Solutions and Consulting Services, had the pleasure to support the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) in one of its new ventures.
The organization was invited by the Chamber to be a partner and supporter for its 2nd Edition Conference on CSR. Titled Corporate Social Responsibility: Beyond Compliance, One Year on. State of the Mission, the conference was held in Mumbai on April 7th, 2015.
The theme of the conference was based on the present status of The Companies Act 2013 (Section 135 & Schedule VII) in the corporate and social sector. The event included discussions on various topics related to CSR such as taxation, CSR as a business strategy, and corporate expectations and NGO ethos.
Mr. Amol Bhore, Advisor to Mr. Sheetal Pansare, President and Global CEO, Futurism Technologies., represented the organization at the event. As a partner and supporter, Futurism Technologies. provided considerable support to the organizing committee. Mr. Bhore also gave a presentation, outlining Futurism’s CSR model. He also spoke about how the organization’s CSR efforts are benefiting various causes. Mr. Bhore’s presentation and remarks were appreciated by all members and guests present.
Speaking on the event, Mr. Pansare said, “Futurism Technologies has been associated with the IACC for many years. We were elated when they contacted us to support the conference. Through various CSR activities, we at Futurism Technologies are committed towards creating a sustainable future that provides value to our society.”
Present at the event was Shri Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao, Honorable Governor of Maharashtra, who inaugurated the conference. The Governor was felicitated by Ms. Rajyalakshmi Rao, President IACC-WIC, Mr. Sunder Advani, Vice President, IACC-WIC, Ms. Madhulika Gupta, CSR Conference Chairperson, and Committee Member IACC-WIC, and Mr. MukundRajan, Member, Group EC, Tata Sons, & Chairman, Tata Global Sustainability Council.
